Description
Volunteers of America is seeking a Part Time Day Trainer to work with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in a vocational setting. The primary job duties of the Day Trainer will be to: empower individuals to develop leisure, social, and employment skills,
assist and train individuals in new skill areas, promote independence according to their service plans. Other duties include supervising persons served and providing transportation as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
