Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana is looking for a Full-Time

Office Manager in the Alexandria area

 

The Office Manager is responsible for the daily operations of our Alexandria administrative office. This office houses five supportive services programs to include homeless outreach, permanent supportive housing, family counseling services, re-entry case management and veteran services.


JOB DUTIES

  • Open and close office building daily
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day office operations
  • Provide clerical support to the Regional Director
  • Greet, assist, and monitor visitors
  • Route division's mail and faxes
  • Coordinate office operations & maintenance with vendors (alarm system, phones, copiers/ faxes, etc.)
  • Maintain common areas
  • Coordinate office inventory
  • Maintain adequate office supplies
  • Maintain calendar of meetings and events
  • Responsible for reviewing completion and submission of new hire packets
  • Provide office orientation, including emergency procedures, to new staff
  • Maintain all staff training requirements
  • Coordinate Advisory Board meetings, committee meetings, and staff meetings
  • Accepting and timely reporting of donations
  • Receive and process rental payments


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, valid driver's license & vehicle insurance required
  • Great organizational and communication skills are necessary
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Office management and accounting experience preferred
