VOASCLA has an immediate opening for a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) in our Baton Rouge office!

Under the direct supervision of the Program Director of Disability Services, the Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) shall be responsible for assisting the Program Director to supervise and implement the individual’s service plan and other program aspects such as:
• Assist Program Director with maintaining CARF/ State requirements
• Review Health and Hospital leave reports monthly
• Attend Residential meetings, IPP meetings, quarterly meetings, HRC meetings, and staff meetings
• Monitor documentation (MARS, CARF, Active Treatment, Quarterly Reviews, Medical Appointments, etc.)
• Ensure medication inventories/PO’s are completed; necessary medications are re-ordered; meds are taken as prescribed and documented correctly
• Review and sign all required documentation (Quarterly Reporting, IPP’s, ICAPS, etc.) as needed by Program Director
• Assist Program Director with implementing QA/QI protocol
• Ensure Behavior Management plan are followed 
• Review client and staff communication summaries
• Follow all procedures as it relates to EZ labor (training new staff to clock in & out, reviewing time
• cards, completing and tracking edit sheets & warnings, delay in pay & payroll adjustments)
• Review vehicle mileage log/ WEX receipts to CLVS office monthly
• Assist with maintaining home and monitoring health and safety requirements
• Report critical incidents/significant concerns to supervisor
• Maintain training requirements
• Provide staffing and 24 hour on-call supports, as needed 
• Projects and duties as assigned

Bachelors degree in social service field & a minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is required. Qualified candidates will also possess excellent  communication skills, both written and oral. Experience as a QIDP and in CARF Accreditation is a plus!
