Our Elderly Services program located in Shreveport has an opening for a Program Coordinator!

The Program Coordinator  works directly with the supervisor and the staff to provide clerical support and assist with maintaining reports, billing entry, and maintaining participant files.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Monitor supplies needed for the program and order supplies accordingly.
  • Arrange for repair of office equipment.
  • Record admissions and discharges to provide information for statistical reports.
  • Distribute incoming mail to appropriate staff.
  • Answer the telephone and assist individuals with directing their calls.
  • Enter all billing and submit billing file to appropriate staff.
  • Scan and email all mileage for the program and submit to appropriate staff timely.
  • Monitor the emergency binder for the program.
  • Provide reports as requested by Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all charts are maintained in compliance with Medicaid guidelines.
  • Update on call schedule as needed.
  • Update organizational chart as needed.
  • Ensure that all intake packets and required forms are updated and available for the staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma is required. Qualified candidates must demonstrate computer & communications skills.  A valid Louisiana driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are a must.
