Our Homebuilder's Program has an opening for a Therapist!!!
Teleheath is currently being utilized, at least half time, and COVID-19 measures being taken while in home (only two families per month)


Salary: $43,000 - $47,000; DOE and degree level plus opportunities for up to $7,200 in incentives per year

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Therapist I position provides intensive in-home services to families that have an identified need for treatment using the Homebuilder's Evidence-based model of family therapy, in order to reduce the risk of out-of-home placement because of abuse, neglect, behavioral and/or emotional problems, or so that children already in foster care are reunited with the family or another permanent family, and to enhance the family’s level of functioning. Availability of services twenty-four (24) hours a days, seven (7) days a week.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Direct implementation of services, treatment, and networking of families receiving services.
• Casework services to families for the purpose of strengthening and preserving them; to include collateral contacts with schools, medical profession, court, mental health personnel, etc.
• Court appearances and related work as necessary.
• Coordinate case management services with DCFS staff, and make referrals to agencies which provide long-term case management services, if appropriate.
• Participate in presenting and interpreting the concepts, process, and skills of the Homebuilders model to a variety of community groups.
• Participate in basic program training, annual in-service trainings, and supervision.
• Assist families in locating and accessing community resources for food, housing, clothing, income, medical assistance, etc.
• Establish and maintain all client case records, case reports, and case statistics in a current and accurate manner in order to reflect family and therapist involvement and progress toward meeting treatment goals, and to document services provided. Complete service hours, monthly mileage logs, reimbursement requests, etc. in a timely manner.
• Attend and participate in Homebuilder’s meetings, Division Meetings, DCFS staffings, and other essential meetings involving the client.
• Other duties as may be assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with two years experience with children and families; or Master's Degree in a social services field. 
Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
