Description

The Parker House Clinical Program Manager provides therapeutic services for the 8 residents in the Reilly Center Therapeutic Group Home, as well as oversees the clinical components of the milieu program and Direct Support Professionals that supervise the residents. This includes assuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines and all Volunteers of America/Greater Baton Rouge policies and procedures. In addition, the Clinical Program Manager is a member of the Reilly Center Leadership Team and assists in the provision of 24 hour on call supports to Parker House Therapeutic Group Home. Parker House Therapeutic Group Home provides evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health counseling services and milieu programming to children under the age of 13 who have suffered physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, neglect, demonstrate emotional and behavioral issues connected to these abuses, and are in state’s custody.
More specifically:

  • Develop and implement a Comprehensive Plan of Care for clients served by Parker House Therapeutic Group Home.  Monitor progress towards achievement of individualized treatment goals.
  • Liaison with DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services), families, schools, court systems, and insurances, and assure that all facets of treatment are incorporated into treatment planning.
  • Communicate effectively with the Director of Reilly Center for Children and Families, Parker House Program Director, Direct Support Professionals, and others to assure effective integration of treatment services.
  • Maintain client records in accordance with federal, state, accreditation, and programmatic policies and procedures.
  • Provide advocacy for client’s rights in utilization and interaction with community health, education, employment, and welfare systems.
Job Requirements:
Must possess a Master's Degree in a mental health field and be licensed with a Louisiana state licensing board (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
• Must have a minimum of one year of experience working with at-risk children and families.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of and passion for ethical standards and codes of conduct in every aspect of the job.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based, trauma-based clinical practices, and a desire to learn and grow as a clinician.
• Must demonstrate strong therapeutic skills to provide individual and family counseling to clients.
• Must demonstrate professionalism and integrity in working with peers, colleagues, and clients.
