Job Summary: The LMHP provides annual behavioral health assessments and LOCUS evaluations for agency clients and recommends appropriate level of care to SMO
Job Duties:
Requirements: This position requires a. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, Social Work with 1 year experience with serving the mentally ill population. Must be licensed LCSW or LPC under Louisiana law. Must have the ability to work individually and in a team environment. High degree of time management skills desired. Excellent verbal and writing skills essential. Sound clinical and assessment skills. Strong ability to meet deadlines

Job Duties:
- Conducts Behavior Health assessments and make determination of the need for services based on diagnostic formulation and services
- Assess mental status, risk and clinical needs of persons receiving behavioral health services
- Performs LOCUS assessments and level of care determination
- Performs other duties as assigned
