Description
We are looking for a PRN Outpatient Therapist to be responsible for developing an Individualized Treatment Plan for each client on the therapist’s caseload. The Outpatient Therapist will insure that the Individualized Treatment Plan is implemented and reviewed in accordance with all state, accreditation, and programmatic policies and procedures.

Duties will include:
  • Develop and implement an Individualized Treatment Plan for clients served by the Reilly Center Outpatient Services Program. Monitor progress towards achievement of individualized treatment goals.
  • Conduct assessment to identify individual needs and frequency of counseling services provided to persons served.
  • Provide counseling services for clients and families.
  • Collaborate with the caregiver to insure all needs within the family system are identified and addressed.
  • Identify needed case management services for clients and communicate to the Program Director any referrals that are needed for additional educational, medical, and mental health services, if appropriate, and upon discharge from the program.
  • Complete all referral documentation, insurance authorizations, and initiation of services as defined by the Reilly Center Outpatient Services Program policy.
  • Provide advocacy for client’s rights in utilization and interaction with community health, education, employment, and welfare systems.
Qualifications needed are:        
  • Must possess a Master’s Degree in a mental health field and be licensed with a Louisiana state licensing board as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of and passion for ethical standards and codes of conduct in every aspect of the job.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish effective rapport with children and families, foster families, funding agency staff, and community providers.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based clinical practices, and a desire to learn and grow as a clinician.
  • Must demonstrate strong therapeutic skills to provide individual and family counseling to clients.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and integrity in working with peers, colleagues, and clients.

This business relationship is that of an independent contractor, and requires the incumbent to bill for services provided. There is no entitlement to benefits such as vacation leave, sick or holiday pay, health insurance, life insurance, retirement, or unemployment insurance.
