The Director of Compliance & Safety will be accountable for the development and implementation of quality management. In addition to health and safety policies, procedures and systems. This position ensures adherence to all safety regulations, applicable to each program and ensures the safety and well-being of staff, volunteers, and service recipients while safeguarding the organization's assets.
Job Requirements:
Considerable knowledge of:
· Quality Assurance compliance objectives
· State regulatory standards
· CARF accreditation process
· Behavioral Health and Managed Care Organizations programs
· Risk Management policies and procedures
· Managed Care Organizations and Louisiana Department of Health corrective action plans
· Safety & Compliance standards
· Emergency preparedness and procedures
· Internal safety inspections and emergency drills
Required Education and Experience:
BA or BS degree (commensurate experience or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree)
5 years in nonprofit management
Documented contract administration experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in MS Office
