Description
Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana is looking for a Community Administrator/Site Manager for our HUD Housing program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the daily operations, administration and inspection of each housing unit and property.  Must ensure federal, state and local compliance by enforcing all housing rules and regulations. Provide indirect support and service referrals to tenants to assist them in maintaining their independence and self sufficiency. Responsible for regular reporting on tenant occupancy, rent collections, tenant grievances or complaints, work orders and incidents. Must maintain positive rapport with the tenants, families,staff and funding and regulatory agencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional certifications or equivalent experience in Section 8 housing or property management preferred.
Experience in working with people with mental disabilities is also preferred. Must have safe and reliable transportation.  Must have a clean criminal record and computer literate.  Must be able to communicate effectively and must have the ability to respond to emergencies, if required after hours and or on weekends.
