The Director will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Supportive Services programs including HIV/AIDS Case Management, Veteran Services, Housing and Homeless Services. This position will provide direct oversight for programs to ensure quality outcomes are met in accordance with contract agreements.
Job Requirements:
Considerable knowledge of:
· Program planning, development, budgeting and management
· Community needs and resources
· Grant development and administration
· Principles and practices of effective supervision
· Principles and practices of providing social services to culturally diverse populations
· Federal, state, and local funding sources
· Software applications commonly used in program management
· Skill in: Analyzing programs and services and structuring new programs and improvements
· Ability to: Interpret complex federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
· Address public and professional groups
· Analyze administrative, personnel, and organizational problems and identify appropriate solutions
· Train and effectively manage staff persons
· Prepare and maintain complex reports and records
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public
· Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Required Education and Experience:
5 years grant writing experience required
5 years of administrative/supervisory experience required
Behavioral Health Professional License preferred (not required)
