The Partnerships in Child Care division of Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana provides information, support, and assistance to child care teachers and Directors to improve the quality of their early childhood instruction and thus positive learning outcomes for children.


The Training Program Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination of activities, and management of efficient delivery of services of the training component of the Partnerships in Child Care Program.
 


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s in early childhood education or Related Field
  • Knowledge of CLASS, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and Louisiana’s Birth to Kindergarten Early Learning and Development Standards• Proficiency in Microsoft office Products a
  • Infant, Toddler and Pre-K CLASS observation reliability (or willing to acquire)
  • Obtain appropriate criminal background clearance and do not appear on the State Central Registry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Must have safe, reliable transportation and be ready to travel across the PICC catchment area if needed
  • Must be willing to provide trainings through the VOASCLA-PICC training calendar and Teacher Institute.
