Parker House Weekend Staff needed -Volunteers of America, The Reilly Center for Children and Families is now hiring part-time overnight and/or weekend Direct Support Professional to work with children ages 3-13.Want to have Fun on the Job, This is the Place for You. We are looking for an energetic, caring person to work part time weekend shifts as a Direct Support Professional to teach children how to interact in community by going bowling, skating to the movies, out to eat and church services. We provide a safe, family-like home for young victims of child abuse to heal from past trauma and prepare for family level care. Parker House is licensed to provide care for a maximum of eight children at a time ranging in age from 3-13 in a Therapeutic Group Home setting.

You are the person we want!! We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, multi-tasker to join our team. In order for you to excel in this position you need to be a “people person” with a lot of enthusiasm and confidence. Our kids need you! Must be 21 years of age, valid Louisiana driver’s license and criminal background check. Two years of experience in working with this population desired. Bachelor of Science in related filed desired.
