JOB DESCRIPTION:
The part time (25-30 hrs/wk) Outreach Specialist is responsible for conducting street outreach to homeless population in targeted & non-targeted areas in the Baton Rouge service region. The Outreach Specialist is also responsible for linking individuals to community services based on their identified need.  With this position, a minimum of 60% of work time will be spent driving.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates must  have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.  Candidates must also possess strong communication skills, both written and oral.  Experience with homeless population and/or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
